Tradition at ScharmützelseeAlready in the 1930’s, Scharmützelsee was an exclusive golf meeting place for Berlin’s high society. The silent movie stars from UFA and world class athletes like Max Schmeling held the manicured greens at Berlin’s doorstep in high esteem.It was in following this tradition that the ribbon was cut for the new resort in November, 1991 by 3 world-class golf stars: Arnold Palmer, Nick Faldo, and Bernhard Langer.
